Mark Shepard is now campaigning in a race for Vermont's only seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I have known Mark well for the past six years. He is a man with a high degree of intelligence and integrity who has served us well in the State Senate since January 2003.

Mark grew up on a farm in Hartland, which had been home to his family for several generations, and he is familiar with the needs of every-day Vermonters in all walks of life.

He is well educated. In 1994, he graduated from a master's course in electrical engineering at RPI. He has run his own business, Adaptive Control Systems, in North Bennington for the past 12 years.

Mark is well equipped to represent the interests of all Vermonters when he gets to Washington and eager to do so.

Please join me in supporting Mark Shepard in his campaign for U.S. Congressman. Vermont needs his experience and his enthusiasm. He's the person for the job.

Fred Ehrich, Bennington County State Senator 1995-1999

"... many politicians talk the talk about doing something tangible about new jobs and it doesn't go much further. Sen. Shepard walked the walk."
"Sen. Shepard's big accomplishment, and it is a significant one, lies in the major role he played in bringing the Bennington Microtech Center into being."
